Genesis Automobile Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. recalls some imported Genesis G80 and GV80 series vehicles

Genesis Automobile Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has decided to recall 1,583 imported Genesis G80 and GV80 vehicles produced between August 27, 2021 and September 8, 2022, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recall of Defective Automobile Products. The reason is that some vehicles have problems with the manufacturing of the fuel pump impeller, which deforms the impeller in a high temperature environment and rubs against the fuel pump housing, increasing resistance, which may cause the fuel pump to stop working and cause the vehicle to stall while driving, posing a safety hazard.
