Nagoya University and Panasonic Automotive Systems develop compact OBC

On January 10, 2025, a team from Nagoya University and Panasonic Automotive Systems Corporation in Japan is developing a compact on-board charger (OBC) for electric vehicles (EVs) that uses a 1200V lateral GaN HEMT device based on a GaN single crystal substrate.
