BorgWarner receives new order for wastegate turbocharger

BorgWarner announced on February 14 that it has reached an extension agreement for the turbocharger supply contract with a large unnamed vehicle manufacturer in North America. Under this agreement, BorgWarner will provide the other party with wastegate turbochargers for medium-sized gasoline engines, suitable for medium and large SUVs and trucks, and production will continue until 2028. These turbochargers are equipped with electronically controlled wastegate actuators to optimize energy management, improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
