Vietnam plans to subsidize electricity prices for electric vehicle charging stations

The Vietnamese government plans to subsidize electricity prices for electric vehicle charging stations to promote the use of electric vehicles and achieve energy transformation. The plan is expected to be submitted to the central government for approval in mid-September this year. Vietnam is striving to keep pace with developed countries in achieving its carbon neutrality goal by 2050. In addition, the government also intends to formulate incentives for the production and import of electric vehicles and encourage consumers to switch from traditional cars to electric vehicles.
