Adient's first quarter results for fiscal year 2025 decline

Automotive seat supplier Adient announced that its net sales in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024) were US$3.495 billion, down from US$3.66 billion in the same period of fiscal year 2024 (October 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023); gross profit was US$216 million, down from US$246 million in the same period of fiscal year 2024; and net profit was US$25 million, down from US$45 million in the same period of fiscal year 2024.
