BYD plans to start mass demonstration and installation of all-solid-state batteries in 2027, and expects to achieve large-scale installation in 2030. All-solid-state batteries are regarded as the next generation technology of liquid batteries, with more stable electrolyte mechanical and chemical properties, and energy density can be increased to 4 times that of existing power batteries, making the range of pure electric vehicles easily exceed 1,000 kilometers.
