Changan Automobile hits sales slump in first half of the year

The reason why people pay special attention to the personnel changes at Changan Automobile's top management is also related to the company's unsatisfactory performance this year. From April to now, Changan Automobile's sales have continued to decline by double digits year-on-year for four consecutive months. According to the data from the China Passenger Car Association, from January to July this year, Changan Automobile's cumulative retail sales were 736,200 vehicles, a year-on-year decline of 1.7%. Among them, the retail sales in July were 85,500 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 27.2%. Among the several domestic brands in the top 10 sales of auto companies that month, Changan Automobile seemed a bit different.
