Samsung Electronics regains top spot in global semiconductor market, Nvidia performs well

In 2024, the total global semiconductor revenue reached US$626 billion, an increase of 18.1% year-on-year. Samsung Electronics regained the world's first place with a revenue of US$66.524 billion, a year-on-year increase of 62.5%, and a market share of 10.6%. Nvidia's performance was particularly outstanding, with its semiconductor revenue in 2024 increasing by 84% year-on-year to US$46 billion, ranking up to third place.
