On December 30, the hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck equipped with an L4 autonomous driving system jointly developed by Foshan Feichi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. ("Feichi Technology") and the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center ("CICV") completed road testing. This experiment is the first L4 hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck road test released to the public in China, marking that the two cutting-edge technologies of hydrogen fuel cells and autonomous driving have been deeply integrated in actual scenarios. Feichi Technology, as a subsidiary of Mei Jin Energy Holdings, is one of the earliest automobile companies in China to promote the industrialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. It has long been committed to building a domestically leading and internationally advanced series of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and has currently achieved a number of leading advantages in the industry. As of December 2022, Feichi Technology has promoted more than 1,500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles of various types, with a cumulative safe operating mileage of more than 72 million kilometers, equivalent to 1,800 laps around the earth, and a cumulative reduction of carbon emissions of approximately 54,000 tons.
