HoloMed Technology faces operational crisis, GAC Group may be the savior

Recently, HoloMatic, a well-known domestic autonomous driving company, has encountered a serious operating crisis, and the restructuring plan it has promoted with GAC Group has encountered variables. According to insiders, HoloMatic's core departments have begun to disband and its business has basically stagnated. If GAC Group does not take over, it will be difficult for the company to survive this crisis. Since its establishment in 2017, HoloMatic has received at least 5 rounds of financing, including Sequoia China, BAI Capital, Oceanwide Investment, NavInfo, Guangdong Science and Technology Finance, GAC Group, etc. In particular, after reaching a cooperation with GAC Group, the company has received three rounds of investment from GAC. GAC currently holds about 13% of HoloMatic's shares and is its largest external shareholder.
