Guangzhou plans to put 10,000 self-driving commercial vehicles into operation by 2027

According to the public solicitation of opinions by the Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Guangzhou will strive to build an internationally competitive "Smart Car City" and plans to achieve the following goals by 2027: automobile production will exceed 3.2 million units, new energy vehicle production will exceed 1.5 million units, L2 (inclusive) and above autonomous driving cars will account for more than 80% of new cars, L3 (inclusive) and above new cars will account for more than 20%, and the number of autonomous driving commercial operations will reach 10,000 vehicles.
