Haomo was founded on November 29, 2019 and is an artificial intelligence technology company dedicated to autonomous driving. Haomo Zhixing is a company under Great Wall Motors dedicated to unmanned driving. It was formerly the intelligent driving system development department established by Great Wall Motors in 2015 and was later incubated by Great Wall Holdings. Based on data intelligence, Haomo Zhixing accelerates technology research and development and product implementation in three directions: passenger cars, terminal logistics unmanned vehicles, and intelligent hardware. As of the end of 2021, the company had about 600 employees, and currently has more than 1,000 employees. Zhang Kai, chairman of Haomo Zhixing, was formerly the dean of the Great Wall Motor Vehicle Safety Engineering Research Institute, the deputy chief engineer of Great Wall Motor Technology, and the director of the Great Wall Intelligent Driving System Development Department. He has worked at Great Wall for 17 years. Gu Weihao, CEO of Haomo Zhixing, worked at Baidu from 2003 to 2019. He was the chief architect of Baidu MP3 and video search, the head of Baidu voice recognition technology, the deputy general manager of Baidu Maps, and the general manager of Baidu Intelligent Automobile Division. Zhen Longbao, chief delivery officer of Haomo Zhixing, is the director of intelligent driving at Great Wall Motors. Hou Jun, COO of Momenta, has worked at Huawei and Baidu for over 20 years.
