Indian company Ola Electric releases AI chip, expected to be available in 2026

Indian company Ola Electric recently announced that it will launch four AI chips, of which three chips, Bodhi 1, Ojas and Sarv 1, are expected to be available in 2026, and another one, Bodhi 2, is expected to be available in 2028. These will be the first AI chips in India. Bodhi 1 is designed for AI reasoning and is suitable for LLM and visual models, while Bodhi 2 is the successor of this series of chips; Ojas is designed for specific applications and can provide customized chips for various applications, including automotive, mobile, IoT, etc.; Sarv 1 is a general-purpose server CPU based on the Arm instruction set, designed to meet the huge demand for AI computing in data centers.
