imec invests 2.5 billion euros to expand production capacity

imec announced that it will invest a total of 2.5 billion euros in two phases to expand its production capacity, including the introduction of about 100 state-of-the-art high numerical aperture extreme ultraviolet lithography (High-NA EUV) equipment from ASML of the Netherlands. At the same time, imec will cooperate with more than 200 universities and companies around the world to promote long-term research and innovation and actively build a semiconductor ecosystem.
