L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT) has acquired 100% stake in Bengaluru-based SiliConch Systems for Rs 183 crore in cash. SiliConch Systems was established in April 2016 and specializes in development/design of semiconductor IP/integrated circuits (ICs). The acquisition is expected to add intellectual property (IP), engineering skills and design expertise to strengthen the group's position in the fabless semiconductor business.
