China's automobile export data for 2025 released

In January 2025, China's automobile exports were 470,000 units, down 6.8% from the previous month, but up 6.1% from the previous year. Among them, the export volume of passenger cars was 395,000 units, up 7.05% year-on-year and down 7.28% from the previous month. The export volume of commercial vehicles was 75,000 units, up 1.35% year-on-year and down 3.85% from the previous month. In the powertrain classification, the export volume of traditional fuel vehicles was 320,000 units, down 6.71% year-on-year and down 13.75% from the previous month. The export volume of new energy vehicles was 150,000 units, up 48.51% year-on-year and up 11.94% from the previous month.
