China Charging Alliance releases nationwide electric vehicle charging and swapping infrastructure operation data for July

According to the latest report from the China Charging Alliance, the number of public charging piles increased by 88,000 in July, a year-on-year increase of 45.2%. As of July 2024, the total number of public charging piles reported by member units of the alliance reached 3.209 million, including 1.431 million DC charging piles and 1.778 million AC charging piles. The total charging electricity in July 2024 was about 5.01 billion kWh, an increase of 450 million kWh from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 54.1% and a month-on-month increase of 9.9%.
