Haier crosses over to car manufacturing, and Kataichi enters the used car market

Haier Group founded Kataichi in 2021 to enter the used car market. Kataichi's business includes high-end personalized car modification and customization, smart charging technology, home-car interconnection technology and used car vertical trading platform. In 2021, Kataichi acquired the domestic used car platform Meichi Famous Car. In November 2022, Kataichi and Zhengzhou Meichi Famous Car established a joint venture company, Hubei Kataichi Automotive Technology Service Co., Ltd. Kataichi is committed to building the country's first self-operated used car mall, connecting offline super stores, online malls and service networks, forming a three-network integrated mid-to-high-end used car direct chain network, and realizing the "national purchase and national sale" of used cars.
