WeRide's driverless road sweeper S1 debuts in Shantou, leading the innovation of the sanitation industry

WeRide has partnered with Guangdong Huadalong Urban Management Services Co., Ltd. to promote the commercial application of its driverless road sweeper S1 in Shantou City. This L4 driverless sanitation equipment has been undergoing safety tests at Chaoren Wharf Square since June this year, and plans to perform regular operations around the clock in the entire Haibin Road area. The WeRide road sweeper S1 has 360-degree blind-angle sensing and operation capabilities, and can operate over 120,000 square meters on a single charge. It is not afraid of extreme environments, can automatically wake up and clean according to a predetermined route, and automatically dump garbage.
