NationalChip Technology's airbag ignition driver chip obtains TÜV Nord ASIL-D certification

On August 23, 2024, the CCL1600B series chip for airbag ignition driver of NationalChip Technology obtained the ISO 26262 ASIL-D functional safety product certification from TÜV Nord, becoming the first chip in China to obtain this certification. This marks that NationalChip Technology has been internationally recognized for its functional safety development capabilities for automotive-grade chips. The CCL1600B chip has been successfully applied to vehicle manufacturers and is expected to be mass-installed in the fourth quarter of this year.
