Volkswagen and CGI deepen cooperation to promote IT infrastructure upgrade

Volkswagen Group announced the expansion of its cooperation with CGI to jointly create a new entity MARV1N, which will focus on Volkswagen's digitalization projects and provide support to developers. The move aims to improve Volkswagen's IT capabilities, simplify the development process of new IT systems, reduce operating costs and accelerate business processes. Volkswagen's goal is to comprehensively overhaul its IT architecture by 2026 and replace numerous outdated systems with fewer but more powerful solutions.
