Waymo's rides surpass 100,000 in a single week

Waymo, the driverless taxi company owned by Google's parent company Alphabet, announced that it has provided more than 100,000 paid services per week in the United States, more than double the number in May. Waymo currently has about 700 driverless cars and provides the only commercial driverless taxi service in the United States, Waymo One. In comparison, Baidu's autonomous driving service "Robot Run" provided about 899,000 autonomous driving orders in the second quarter, a year-on-year increase of 26%.
