BYD actively expands into the global market

For example, it invested about 17.9 billion baht to build a factory in Rayong Province, Thailand, which is expected to be put into production in 2024 with an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, mainly for the Southeast Asian and European markets. In Bahia State, Brazil, BYD invested 3 billion reais to build a factory, which is scheduled to be put into production in 2024, with an initial annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, and the target market is South America. In addition, BYD is also planning to build a factory in Hungary to further expand the European market, and is investigating the possibility of building factories in India and other places to cover the South Asian market.
