According to the latest news, SoftBank plans to inject 100 billion yen (about 4.906 billion yuan) into Sharp, and the goal may be to acquire part of the land and factory buildings of Sharp's LCD panel factory "Sakai Display Product (SDP)" in Sakai City. SoftBank is negotiating with Sharp to acquire part of its Sakai factory with the aim of building an artificial intelligence data center. Although this investment will help Sharp increase its capital, SoftBank said they do not intend to acquire the factory based on this investment because the benefits of doing so are not great.
