Development of PGU solution in HUD

In HUD, the picture generation unit (PGU) solutions mainly include three technical paths: TFT, DLP and LCoS. Among them, TFT technology has become the mainstream solution in the market due to its maturity and cost advantages. From January to June 2023, the market share of TFT solutions reached 98.1%. The LCoS product technology solution accelerated mass production in 2024, with a market share of 4.4%. The market share of DLP solutions also increased from 1.8% to 2.3%.
