Changfei Fiber's revenue declined in the first half of 2024, while revenue from new optical fiber products increased

Changfei Optical Fiber released its 2024 semi-annual report, which showed that the company achieved operating income of 5.348 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 22.66%; and achieved a net profit attributable to the parent of 378 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 37.77%. Despite the overall decline in revenue, the company's new optical fiber products such as high-end multimode optical fiber and G.654.E optical fiber have achieved rapid growth in revenue, mainly due to the accelerated release of computing power data center-related demand brought about by the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence at home and abroad.
