Baojun Automobile's sales volume continues to decline and may fall below 50,000 units this year

Baojun Automobile, an independent brand under SAIC-GM-Wuling, once achieved the feat of annual sales of one million vehicles in just seven years. However, in recent years, the brand's sales have continued to decline. From 2018 to 2023, Baojun Automobile's annual sales will be 879,000, 604,000, 422,000, 215,000, 59,600, and 51,600, respectively, with sales declining for six consecutive years. Although Baojun Automobile sold 4,399 vehicles in July this year, a year-on-year increase of 17.8%, the cumulative sales in the first seven months of this year are still less than 20,000 vehicles. According to the current trend, Baojun's sales this year may fall below 50,000 vehicles.
