The EU has decided to impose tariffs on electric vehicles produced in China, but they are lower than the previous proposal. The additional tariff rate set for Tesla is 9%, and the additional tariffs faced by SAIC, Geely and BYD are 36.3%, 19.3% and 17% respectively. Although the overall trend shows that China's electric vehicle exports to the EU have declined, BYD has risen against the trend, and its market share in the EU electric vehicle market has risen to 8.5% in July.
