Toyota Motor Corporation transfers $1.5 billion order to LG Energy Solution's Lansing plant

Toyota Motor Corp. has agreed to transfer a $1.5 billion order from LG Energy Solution to the Lansing, Michigan, battery plant after General Motors Co. pulled out of its joint venture with LG Energy Solution, according to people familiar with the matter. The plant is currently being prepared and is expected to start production soon.
