IBM closes China R&D department, pays N+3

IBM shut down access to its R&D and testing employees in China on Friday night, which is expected to affect thousands of employees. It is reported that IBM has transferred the R&D work of the China System Laboratory to other overseas bases and will start talks with affected employees next Monday. As compensation, IBM will provide N+3 compensation to the relevant employees.
