AAM to acquire GKN to reach $12 billion in annual global sales

After AAM completes the acquisition of GKN, its global annual sales will expand to $12 billion, of which the automotive business will reach $9 billion and metal forming and processing will reach $3 billion. This will move AAM up from the current 9th place to the 6th place in the ranking of North American automotive parts suppliers.
