NIO’s 3,000th battery swap station opens in Lhasa

NIO has built the world's highest-altitude battery swap station in Tibet, which is an integrated "photovoltaic storage charging and swapping" station that integrates photovoltaic power generation (daily power generation of 600kWh) and energy storage system, realizing zero-carbon emission battery swap services. At the same time, NIO has also launched the BaaS 3.0 power rental plan, reducing the battery rental fee to 680 yuan/month, which is expected to increase user penetration to 40%.
