BYD Blade Battery 2.0 goes into mass production, with a range of over 800 kilometers

BYD announced that its upgraded version of blade batteries has been put into production. The energy density of the battery has been increased to 200Wh/kg. It is installed on the Sea Lion 07 EV for the first time, with a CLTC range of 805 kilometers. Even in a low temperature environment of -30℃, the capacity retention rate is still as high as 85%. The cost of the new battery has been reduced by 12%, and it is planned to cover all models within this year, further squeezing the space of joint venture brands in the pure electric market.
