Mercedes-Benz's production capacity plan for the next three years: maintain 2 million to 2.5 million vehicles, and reduce the production capacity of German factories

Mercedes-Benz announced its latest production capacity plan, which is expected to maintain production capacity between 2 million and 2.5 million vehicles in the next three years. In Germany, Mercedes-Benz plans to reduce production capacity by 100,000 vehicles, but will not close factories. Instead, it will achieve this by limiting the production capacity of each factory (about 300,000 vehicles) and reducing the number of employees.
