Italian Industry Minister Adolfo Urso recently issued a stern warning to the Stellantis Group, demanding that it respond positively to ACC's investment in the construction of a super factory in Termoli, Italy as soon as possible. Urso said that if Stellantis does not take action, the Italian government will recover its 400 million euro investment in the project and reallocate the funds to other areas, and may even transfer them to other participants, including Chinese manufacturers. Urso stressed that Italy cannot rely on a single automobile company to meet national needs, and supports the introduction of another manufacturer to increase annual production to at least 1.5 million vehicles.
