Nissan seeks Tesla as strategic investor

Nissan is considering introducing Tesla as a strategic investor after the merger talks failed. According to reports, Nissan executives are making plans to allow Tesla to join as the largest shareholder while allowing other companies such as Foxconn to participate in minority equity investments. This move is aimed at avoiding being fully acquired by Foxconn and getting rid of Renault's controlling stake.
