Tesla asks Canada to lower import tariffs on Chinese-made cars

Tesla reportedly approached Ottawa to reduce import duties on its Chinese-made cars before Canada announced a 100% tariff on Chinese-made electric vehicles on Monday. Tesla is asking for a tax rate similar to what it gets in the European Union.
