Xinwangda's first-half performance hits a new high

Lithium battery manufacturer Xinwanda achieved record revenue and net profit in the first half of 2024. The report shows that Xinwanda's revenue in the first half of the year reached 23.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%; net profit was 820 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 87.8%. This marks the highest level since its listing in 2011. Xinwanda's main business is the production of consumer batteries, such as batteries for mobile phones and laptops. This sector remains the company's main source of income, with revenue of 13.2 billion yuan in the first half of the year, accounting for 55%. In addition, the company's power battery sector also performed well, with revenue of 6.2 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 19%, and its share increased to 26%.
