Sales of Q-tronix dropped sharply, while sales of Li Auto and NIO dropped slightly

In August, Hongmeng Zhixing delivered 33,699 new cars across the board, a sharp drop of 25% month-on-month; a total of 272,136 cars were delivered from January to August. AITO delivered 31,216 new cars in August, of which 15,386 were M9 and 10,261 were new M7. The reasons for the sharp drop in sales are: first, it was reported that the high temperature holiday had an impact; second, according to insiders at the Seres factory, the production line is currently being upgraded to pave the way for the launch and delivery of the M8; third, the launch of the S9 may have taken up part of the sales of the S9. In August, Ideal Auto delivered 48,122 new cars, a month-on-month decrease of 5.6% and a year-on-year increase of 37.8%. A total of 288,103 units were delivered from January to August 2024. As of August 31, 2024, Ideal Auto has delivered a total of 921,467 units. In August, NIO delivered 20,176 new cars, exceeding 20,000 for four consecutive months, down 1.6% from the previous month and up 4.4% from the previous year. From January to August this year, NIO delivered a total of 128,100 new cars, up 35.77% from the previous year. So far, NIO has delivered a total of 577,694 new cars.
