Great Wall Motors August production and sales report: sales volume declines, but new energy vehicles perform well

Great Wall Motors recently released its August production and sales report, which showed that the company sold 94,500 vehicles in July, down 17.21% year-on-year, marking the fourth consecutive month of sales decline. Cumulative sales from January to August this year were 745,400 vehicles, up 0.40% year-on-year. In overseas markets, 40,500 vehicles were sold in August, and cumulative sales from January to August were 280,100 vehicles. In the field of new energy vehicles, 24,800 vehicles were sold in August, and cumulative sales from January to August were 181,400 vehicles. Although the Tank brand performed well, the Haval, WEY and Ora brands all experienced varying degrees of decline.
