Toyota Motor's July global production and sales data released

Toyota Motor released its global production and sales data for July. The data showed that Toyota's global production in July was 804,600 vehicles, down 0.6% year-on-year. This is the sixth consecutive month that Toyota's production has declined. At the same time, Toyota's global sales in July were 858,000 vehicles, down 0.2% year-on-year. Despite the unsatisfactory production and sales data, Toyota still achieved record highs in revenue and operating profit in the second quarter of this year.
