It is reported that at 6:30 pm on February 18, a fire broke out again at the Moss Landing Power Station, one of the world's largest battery energy storage facilities, located about 160 kilometers southeast of San Francisco. Since lithium batteries were still in the previously burned part, these lithium batteries began to smolder and produce a lot of thick smoke. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the smoke became thicker and even formed small flames. The fire lasted until 3 am the next day before it was successfully extinguished. It burned for more than 8 hours.
