BMW plans to continue using sixth-generation conventional battery technology

Frank van Meel, head of BMW's M performance division, said in a recent interview that BMW is focusing on the sixth generation of conventional battery technology and intends to continue using this technology in the near future. This new technology will be applied to BMW's upcoming "Neue Klasse" next-generation electric vehicle series. BMW promises that future electric vehicles will charge 30% faster, have a 30% longer range, a 20% higher battery energy density, and use an 800V electrical system.
