ams Osram's revenue for fiscal 2023 is 3.59 billion euros

ams OSRAM announced its Q4 and full-year results for fiscal year 2023. ams OSRAM's revenue in the fourth quarter was solid, reaching 908 million euros, and its revenue for fiscal year 2023 was 3.59 billion euros (about 27.848 billion yuan). The semiconductor business achieved revenue of 2.425 billion euros, a year-on-year decrease of 23%, and the proportion of total revenue increased to 68%; the revenue of the lighting and system business fell to 1.165 billion euros, a year-on-year decrease of 29%, and the proportion of total revenue fell to 32%. The company focuses on two major businesses, semiconductors (Semis) and lighting and systems (L&S), and vertically focuses on four major application areas: automotive, industrial, medical and consumer. ams OSRAM said that the decline in revenue was mainly due to the divestiture of the business portfolio of the lighting and system business segment, as well as the contraction of smartphone component applications in the semiconductor business segment. At the same time, the cyclical inventory adjustment in the automotive field in the first half of the year and the weak market demand in the fields of plant lighting and professional lighting also led to a decline in the company's performance.
