CATL releases battery swap station construction and layout plan

Gao Huan, chief technology officer of CATL, revealed the construction and layout plan of battery swap stations. CATL plans to deploy 10,000 battery swap stations worldwide to promote the development of new energy vehicles. By 2025, their goal is to build more than 500 battery swap stations in more than 30 cities; by 2026, this number will increase to 70 cities and more than 1,500 battery swap stations; by 2027, they plan to reach 3,000 battery swap stations. At present, CATL's battery swap stations have covered Xiamen, Fuzhou, Hefei, Guiyang and other cities.
