Renault Group expects record operating profit in 2024

Renault Group achieved a record operating profit of 4.263 billion euros in 2024, up 3.5% year-on-year, exceeding the company's forecast of 4.2 billion euros. This was mainly due to profit margin expansion driven by cost reductions and new model launches. In addition, Renault Group's revenue in 2024 increased by 7.4% year-on-year to 56.232 billion euros, far exceeding the expected 54.5 billion euros. Although the operating profit margin fell from 7.9% in 2023 to 7.6%, it still achieved the goal of an operating profit margin of at least 7.5% for the full year. However, due to the reduction of Nissan shares and the impairment of some investments, Renault Group's net profit in 2024 fell from 2.198 billion euros in 2023 to 752 million euros.
