Gecko Automobile is a new energy commercial vehicle company with advanced digital chassis as its core business. It was initiated and established by Asia's largest automobile design company, Art Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., and led by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. and Jitu International Logistics Co., Ltd. It is expected that after obtaining qualifications in the third quarter, it will mainly carry out professional vehicle business, including motorhomes, refrigerated trucks, command vehicles, ambulances, etc. Li Jiwei said that if the project goes smoothly, the new model will start production in Shenshan in 2025. The second phase of Gecko Automobile's investment will be located in Xiaomo Town, and will be used to produce Gecko Automobile's MagicWay new energy commercial vehicles and Jinhu EV48 long-range smart logistics vehicles and other series of products.
