China New Energy Aviation invests 2 billion euros to build lithium battery factory in Sines, Portugal

Sinotruk plans to start building a lithium battery factory in Sines, Portugal, with an investment of 2 billion euros this year. The project is expected to be completed in 2028. The factory will be located in the Sines Industrial Zone, covering an area of ​​45 hectares and including five production buildings. The factory is expected to have a storage production capacity of 15 GWh and will use the latest lithium battery technology.
