On September 2, 2024, Continental Tire's Hefei plant in China celebrated the historic moment of its passenger car tire production exceeding 100 million. Since its commissioning in 2011, the plant has been committed to providing high-quality tire products to consumers in China and the Asia-Pacific region. At present, the plant's annual production capacity has reached 18 million passenger car and light truck tires.
