Founded in 2014, Calterah Microelectronics Technology is a leader in the development and design of millimeter-wave radar chips. In 2017, Calterah successfully mass-produced the world's first automotive-grade CMOS process 77/79 GHz millimeter-wave radar RF front-end chip, taking the lead in achieving a breakthrough in the automotive original equipment market. In 2019, Calterah took the lead in launching a SoC chip with an integrated radar signal processing baseband accelerator, bringing a new revolution to the development and implementation of high-performance, easy-to-develop, and miniaturized millimeter-wave radar sensors. In addition, Calterah has also mass-produced the world's first 77 GHz and 60 GHz millimeter-wave radar package integrated antenna on chip (Antenna-in-Package, AiP) SoC chip, accelerating the popularization of millimeter-wave radar in the automotive and industrial consumer markets. Calterah has the most comprehensive portfolio of millimeter-wave radar chips in the industry, including 77/79 GHz and 60 GHz RF front-ends, SoCs and SoC AiP chips, which are used in automotive assisted driving and autonomous driving fields including corner radar, front radar, imaging radar, cabin radar, door radar, as well as industrial consumer fields such as smart home, elderly care, security monitoring, smart transportation, and security imaging. Calterah adheres to the design concept of automotive-grade reliability and safety, and has passed ISO 9001 quality system certification, ISO 26262 functional safety management system certification, ISO/SAE 21434 network security management system certification, and ISO 27001 information security management system certification. Its products meet the AEC-Q100 reliability specifications, and SoC products containing computing units reach the functional safety level of ASIL-B. The chip MCAL software has passed ASPICE Level 2 certification. So far, Calterah has reached cooperation with more than 20 OEM car companies, enabling more than 200 models, and the cumulative chip shipments have exceeded 8 million pieces. Calterah is headquartered in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, and has established R&D and technical support centers in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Beijing, as well as operation centers in Hong Kong and Munich. Calterah focuses on the development of highly integrated millimeter-wave radar sensor chips, and currently has more than 450 patents worldwide.
